Motions are made. It’s “parliamentary” the bloomin’ guy says. He’s a stickler; she sighs; he’s making deals; she’ll break the tie. Discussion crescendos to a prickly match. Something about taxes and rainy seasons. A party was thrown out there for no good reason; a yucca thrown too. Before more misbehavior, the spiny fella hollers “Order! All in favor!” Motion carries. Only the sun and the days that follow will reveal if their resolution holds water.
