WONDERING
I’m paralyzed again, staring at the horizon, my mind wondering. Playing through all the scenarios of what-may-happen… maybe. Multi-tasking is out of the question. So I stop just long enough to save my world from disaster. But, I hear echoes of my name from somewhere off this trail I’ve made in my day-to-day telling me to return from what-may-never-be and cut a new way through this bramble. Productivity is what got me out of my den today, but these frozen legs are never going to get me there. Wondering gives me pause, but only stepping will move me to the mysterious what-will-happen.
