SHE CARRIES
She is far from weak. To carry is different than lifting. Muscle has been building on hip and back, mind and heart, sculpting a load-bearing endurance like none other. She carries more than her weight, more than even she expected. It tests her core, her balance, her focus, her intent. The load above is the most daunting, always shifting, always threatening, but she has found a way. There are moments when she looks around at all the flash and flair and she wonders what it would be like to shed the weight, to shed the wait and take now what is light. But in the deepest part she knows her joy, her song, is in rhythm to bearing, wearing, and carrying what no one else can. This is the burden and beauty of womanhood.
