Advent in Art and Verse presents twenty-seven personal works of art, each representing significant chapters in the narrative of Christ’s lineage as recorded in the gospels of Matthew and Luke. Through mixed media art and prose, let me take you on a journey through Advent to marvel at the story of Jesus and His coming. Every full-color piece is accompanied by Scripture, telling the story as it is written, and coupled with poetry that interprets each work, helping to link the day’s focus within the larger narrative. This 27-day Advent journey begins after Thanksgiving on November 29 and proceeds through December 25 on Christmas Day.
