HONEY

Where Psalm 119 goes into amplified detail on the beauty of Scripture, Psalm 19 brings it down to concise packed lines of poetry, like a hand-picked bouquet. The author brims over with tangible images of the benefits of knowing and feasting on the words of his Maker. My favorite line is that His word “is sweeter than honey from a honeycomb.” In identifying with those same sentiments, I created this piece with words held within what can never decay and a substance that has lasting benefits. God’s words are sweeter... making wise the simple.
